Radar was brought into a high kill shelter with his ears rotting off. They immediately took him to the vet which is not something they would normally do there. The vet knocked him out to try and remove the rotting flesh and was horrified at what they found. Rubber Bands embedded into his ears. He lost 90% of one ear and a little over 50% of the other. They contacted us to come and get him and transport was underway. I couldn't believe my eyes at first. But once interacting with him I could see why all the effort had been put into him. This boy is one sweetheart. Even though he has been treated so horribly by humans he still trusts us 100% and loves to give kisses. Also loves to try and sit in your lap (guess he doesn't realize he is a little large for that LOL) The ears are almost completely healed and he is now up to dat on vaccines. Scheduled to be neutered on 3/21. If you think your home and family would be right for this boy please make sure to fill out our online application. He would make a wonderful addition to anyones family. And he sure deserves to find a very loving one. The believes he is part short haired collie and we know there is a mix in there but have not put are finger on what it is. Regardless even with the ears as they are he is a beautiful boy inside and out.
