Gertie is one of the sweetest dogs to come through our rescue.  This girl found herself in dire straights and ended up at the local shelter.  Gertie was brought to our rescue along with her babies whom have all found wonderful homes.  She is quite comical and is full of kisses for everyone.  She seems to get along well with most dogs although we would like a home with no other females just to be on the safe side.  Gertie has no real interest in kitties that we can see  She totally ignored them at the last event she just went to.  She is now spayed and thankfully tested negative for any tick born diseases, currently on prevetatives.  Gertie is current on rabies and distemper and is microchipped.  You don't want to miss out on this sweetheart.  Someone very lucky will get to have a wonderful new member to add to their family when they adopt her. She will need to learn some more basic obedience but thus far has learned sit, give paw and give five.  Still pulls on leash some so will need some work in that area as well.    If interested in possible adoption please go to www.
