London was found dragging a strap behind her and weighed only 49 pounds. You could literally see every bone in her body. She has been with us for awhile now and I am happy to say she is weighing 76 pounds and is now gorgeous. She is happy and playful. Loves her toys and loves being fussed over. London is now up to date on vaccines, bloodwork was negative and now current on preventatives, spayed and microchipped. We did notice that her gait was not quite right so we took xrays to determine if there were hip issues. But we found something unexpected. London had recent trauma to her pelvic area. There were several fractures that had healed over. She runs and plays as if nothing is wrong however her back feet seem to turn out somewhat. We have put her on joint supplements as a maintenance. The vet feels that she will live a long and happy life although she may show signs of arthritis earlier then normal. London has had a raw deal dealt to her in the past but her future looks bright now. We have not yet had her with other dogs so not sure how that will go but will update soon. UPDATE London has been going on long walks with Jessie a male Australian Shepherd that is also in our rescue. She doesn't seem to have much interest in him and tolerates his interest in her. Think shes playing hard to get LOL
