Louis is a very big boy, weighing in at 19 lbs!  Louis just recently came into the rescue.  He has been vetted and is a strong, healthy boy, but in need of a little extra TLC and grooming.  Louis got his name when he was adopted previously in St. Louis.  He is only 2 and a half years old, so hopefully he has a long rewarding life ahead.  He has been declawed, so he is an indoor only kitty.  He has a funny little habit of growling at a low pitch.  He isn't angry, but maybe a little nervous or excited.  He is friendly and used to dogs...we are working on other cats, slowly.  A quiet home with older kids and quiet pets would be best for the big-boy!  He is considered a "Blue" Maine Coon and has huge golden eyes.
