Nickie is a wonderful sweet girl. She is approximately 4 years old. She was saved from a life of horror. The evidence of a once embedded collar shows on her neck. She has spent much of her life on a 2 foot chain and had numerous litters of puppies. This has caused her to have a slight gap in her joint. She manages fine with it and the vet believes she can live a normal life as she is. For the most part you do not notice it. But every now and then she will limp slightly if she has overdone it with play and/or exercise. This girl really needs to find that loving home to live out the rest of her life. She is very sweet and eager to please. Gets along with people wonderfully. Seems that she would prefer to be an only dog. Will get along with other dogs until food/water, toys, treats etc. come in to play. She gets protective. Having to do without and being on a chain while others ran freely I am sure she had to protect whatever was hers in order to survive. She has been put with more alpha dogs and has done fine. She will try to rule the roost with a submissive dog. Again this girl is wonderful with people. She is super loving and full of kisses. Has learned to sit and is doing wonderful with house training. She has been spayed and is up to date on vaccines and current on heartgard.
